Every conductor has a magnetic field. However, waves known as electromagnetism can cause noticeable interference in the drain. To avoid this, these components must be specially shielded. This not only protects, but also prevents electromagnetic interference, or EMI for short. EMI / RFI protection is provided by a metal sheath that protects against electric fields. This shielding, often copper, ensures what is called electromagnetic compatibility, or EMC for short.
This is why Kromberg & Schubert offers copper shielded braids, which can be laid in the form of braided sheaths around the cables to protect these and therefore do not allow electromagnetic waves.
