Kromberg & Schubert GmbH Cable & Wire, a subsidiary and cable and wire production site of the internationally renowned Kromberg & Schubert Group, laid the foundation stone in 2018 for the construction of a new modern cable factory in Taicang, China.

The 100% owner-managed Kromberg & Schubert company is located in Jiangsu Province - known for its stable industrial base.

Kromberg & Schubert Automotive Science & Technology Co. Ltd. opened in February 2019 with more than 12,000 m² of production area and started the production of high voltage cables for the electric mobility sector.

Thanks to the modern technical equipment of the machines used there and the orientation towards Industry 4.0 standard, the Taicang plant is able to replicate the entire cable production portfolio of the Rhede plant.

Like the Rhede site, the Taicang plant focuses on the development and manufacture of special cables.

The technical department of the new site acts as an additional research center and supports both our DAkkS accredited laboratory (KROlab) and product development in Rhede with regard to innovations throughout the APAC area.
Thanks to this very well-developed network, Kromberg & Schubert is able to support its customers and OEMs by offering them full support and short delivery times, as well as offering additional production capacities for the entire product range of cables, meeting all quality requirements.
